Most people who reach out aren't sure where to start. That's fine. That's what the first conversation is for.

"I can't quite put my finger on it — but something needs to change."

Many of the leaders I work with arrive mid-sentence. Something is off. They can feel it before they can name it.

That's usually the right time to talk. Not when everything is clearly broken. Not when the answer is already obvious. Before that, when the pressure is real, but the answer hasn't come into focus yet.

You don't have to know what to ask for. You just have to say what you're noticing.

Tell me what's on your mind.
