thats me … the blog slacker.
it has been a very busy time, finishing putting together the policy manual for Westside Kings Church on how they are engaging the world. Bringing light to darkness, feeding the hungry, providing water to the thirsty.
At the same time, i have been finishing a video project with 2 Calgary schools for CAUSE Canada. I am working with groups of students and through an experiential learning module using giant puppets we are looking at the fact and fiction, the bias and stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS. The kids have been great! I just finished working with 50 grade 7 kids and they put the whole thing together themselves.
on the 10th of november I take off for Sierra Leone and begin the process there. When I return I will show the Canadian kids the Sierra Leone views. should be incredible!
